Ian Bonze

About

Ian Ferreira Bonze is a PhD Student in Classics at the University of St. Andrews, UK, under the supervision of Dr Carlos Machado. MPhil in Comparative History at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, under the supervision of Dr Deivid Gaia. In 2020, he concluded his degree in History at the same University. In 2019, he concluded his BA in History at the same University. He is a member of the Laboratory of Ancient History (LHIA-UFRJ) since 2015, and a reviewer of the Journal Phoînix. He develops his research on the Financial History of the Roman Empire in the fourth and fifth centuries. His research areas are Financial History, Roman Law, Roman Empire, Christianization, and Late Antiquity.
